White House Discussing Intelligence Sharing with Ukraine — Semafor

The publication notes that US President Donald Trump is downplaying the idea of ending intelligence sharing with Ukraine. The day before, he told reporters that Washington was “helping” and continued to share intelligence with Kyiv.

According to a source who spoke to the publication, the idea is being actively discussed within the White House, but officials have not yet reached a consensus. CIA Director John Ratcliffe opposes ending such intelligence sharing.

“Trump is very angry. He could give such an order,” the Semafor source said, suggesting that Trump could stop providing intelligence for strikes on targets inside Russia.

Last year, Trump briefly suspended intelligence sharing with Ukraine after an argument with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during their meeting at the White House. On October 12 and 13, Zelensky said Ukraine had not received information from its Western partners about Russian strikes on Kyiv.
