An “industrial facility” in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug is burning after a drone attack

Ruslan Kukharuk, governor of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, reported this on social media.

A fire broke out following a drone attack on an industrial facility in the Surgut district. Emergency services are working at the scene. Specialists are currently assessing the extent and nature of the damage,

he wrote.

According to the Exilenova+ Telegram channel, the strike hit the Surgut Condensate Stabilization Plant, located approximately 2,400 km from the Ukrainian border. The Gazprom facility processes gas condensate and produces motor and aviation fuel.

Earlier, Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency reported restrictions at Kogalym Airport in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, for the second time since the start of the war in Ukraine; restrictions had previously been imposed in September.

The Fire Gets an Industrial Label

A drone attack caused a fire, reportedly at a condensate processing plant.

The bigger the fire, the vaguer the label.
