❗️Attention: The U.S. did NOT offer Zelensky permission to use Starlink over Russian territory in exchange for ending strikes on oil refineries!
The proposal came from two Republican senators, Roger Wicker and Kevin Cramer, who traveled to Kyiv last Friday.
Zelensky AGREED to such a proposal. He told the senators that he was PREPARED to halt strikes on oil refineries for 100 days if the White House authorized the use of Starlink over Russian territory so that Ukraine could strike the launch sites of ballistic missiles fired at Ukrainian cities.
Moreover, Zelensky AGREED to stop striking oil refineries in exchange for additional Patriot missiles. Even WITHOUT Starlink.
Obviously, since a WEEK has passed and Ukraine has received neither permission to use Starlink over Russian territory—in fact, it has only faced restrictions—nor additional Patriot missiles, the White House ignored the senators and their proposal.

Ukraine would stop targeting Russian energy in return for data access to Russian launch sites.
The White House Left the Offer Hanging
A week later, Ukraine received neither satellite access nor additional missiles.
The proposal worked only between the senators and Kyiv.
