The Turkish group Daltons may have been involved in the arson attack on a Starlink ground station in Poland, Der Spiegel reports, citing sources.
The station caught fire on September 23. Polish authorities called the fire a deliberate act of sabotage and blamed Russia.
According to Der Spiegel’s sources, the Turkish group carried out the sabotage on instructions from Russian intelligence services.
On Monday, two Turkish citizens were detained in Germany at Poland’s request: 38-year-old Ümit E. and 34-year-old Müslüm T. A court in Stuttgart is expected to decide soon whether they should be extradited to Poland, the publication reports.
