Ryazan Oil Refinery Suspends Crude Processing at One Unit
The fire also forced the shutdown of several related units: a reformer, a vacuum gas oil hydrotreater, and a catalytic cracker, Reuters reports.
According to the agency's sources, following a Ukrainian attack on October 15, the AT-6 unit at the Ryazan oil refinery, which is owned by Rosneft, was shut down and several oil pipelines were damaged. Meanwhile, the AVT-1, AVT-3, and AVT-4 units remain operational and can be used while the AT-6 unit is offline.
Fire Tests the Refinery’s Operational Resilience
After the attack, fire halted one unit and related equipment.
Resilience now runs on the units still working.
