Alexei Navalny’s lawyers ended up behind bars for honestly doing their job

Vadim Kobzev and Alexei Liptser defended Navalny against fabricated charges, inhumane conditions, and complete isolation. They fought for his rights and told the world what was happening to him in the penal colony. Thanks to the lawyers, we knew about the torture, sleep deprivation, denials of medical care, and endless transfers to solitary confinement.

For this work, for their integrity and loyalty to their profession, Kobzev and Liptser were arrested and sent to penal colonies in the Urals and Siberia, thousands of kilometres from their families. They need our support.
