Ukrainian soldiers dig out a Russian serviceman and pull him from beneath the rubble of the blown-up dugout where he was hiding.
Think about it once again: Ukrainians are digging out an occupier, saving his life. It would have been much easier for them not to spend time and effort, leaving him to die beneath the rubble. They could have calmly moved on and continued their advance, but no—they chose to take a prisoner. This is one of the main differences between Ukrainians and Russians.
During the offensive Operation “Vivaldi” in the Lyman direction, fighters of the Third Army Corps took hundreds of Russian servicemen prisoner. Some surrendered voluntarily and immediately; others had to be persuaded—during direct contact, every occupier was offered the chance to lay down their arms in exchange for their life being spared. How this happened can be seen in the video filmed by Ukrainian assault troops.
☝️Once again, we remind all Russian servicemen: Ukrainians are interested in taking you alive! They know this way they can get their comrades out of Russian captivity, and they also receive bonuses and awards for it. Whatever political officers may tell you about Ukrainian captivity, it is definitely safer there than in any unit of the Russian army.

Captivity propaganda lost to reality again.
