Author of the “Not Marginal Content” blog fined for quoting Roskomnadzor on Telegram’s unblocking
The author of the “Not Marginal Content” blog was fined for quoting Roskomnadzor on Telegram’s unblocking
A magistrate's court in Moscow's Tagansky District fined blogger Yekaterina Kuznetsova 30,000 rubles under an administrative article on abuse of media freedom.
The protocol was drawn up over a post Kuznetsova published on the “Not Marginal Content” Telegram channel in June 2026, in which she posted the text of a news story about the unblocking of the Telegram messenger.
Kuznetsova wrote: “Friends, I think I have good news,” followed by Roskomnadzor's text about the messenger's full unblocking in the summer of 2020.
Soon afterward, Kuznetsova received a notification from Roskomnadzor demanding that she delete the post for disseminating false socially significant information.
