A St. Petersburg resident filed a rape report with police. At the station, she was abused and beaten for five hours
A St. Petersburg resident named Irina has accused an officer at Police Station No. 14 in the Frunzensky District of abuse, beatings, and sexualized violence.
It began when, on October 9, she agreed to visit a man she had met through the “Daivinchik” bot. Two of his friends were also there. The men and the woman “drank, talked, and played cards.” The apartment owner then took advantage of Irina’s helpless condition and had unprotected sex with her.
The next day, the woman went to file a police report. At the station, she was abused and beaten for five hours. Irina then urgently left St. Petersburg and flew to Kamchatka, where her family lives. There, she contacted the Investigative Committee.
Law enforcement agencies have not yet officially responded to what happened.
