For all its nastiness, Trump’s new “peace plan” does not contain a drop of “victory” for the so-called special military operation. Rather, it records the complete collapse of Russian hopes of subjugating and reclaiming Ukraine.

At the same time, Donbas (or its occupied part) does not go to the Russians either; it becomes a “demilitarized zone,” that is, a space governed by EU and US peacekeeping corps.

Under the UN Charter, not a single armed orc should or will be present in these territories.

This condition presupposes the Russian gang’s withdrawal even from the “line of contact,” by at least 50 km.

French, Polish, American, and other divisions wearing “white helmets” have every right and authority to suppress sorties and any suspicious movements by Russia.

Of course, this does not even smell remotely like any “victory.”
