The governor of Oryol Region confirmed a strike on the city; there are casualties

Andrei Klychkov said this on his social media accounts.

According to him, a “civilian facility” was damaged in the strike on the city — “an enterprise in the city’s Sovetsky District.”

He did not name it, nor did he specify the number of casualties.

“The attack came during rush hour, when people were returning home from work to their families,” the governor added.

Ukrainian channels claim that the Proton plant was struck; it produces, among other things, components used in missiles and air defense systems.
