A mass power outage has occurred in the territories of the “new regions.” The Energy Ministry stated that it was the result of “external impact.”

“As a result of external impact on energy infrastructure facilities in the Republic of Crimea, the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, and the Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics, some consumers were left without electricity. Russia’s Energy Ministry, together with regional authorities and energy companies, is promptly working to eliminate the consequences of the attack and restore electricity supply. To ensure the stable operation of the power system and the phased restoration of electricity supply, schedules of temporary electricity-consumption outages are in effect. Socially significant facilities are being connected to backup power sources,” the ministry’s press service reported.
