The House has introduced the “Ronald Reagan Peace Through Strength Act,” which Fitzpatrick promised two weeks ago.
The bill is bipartisan and has three co-sponsors:
▪️Brian Fitzpatrick (Republican);
▪️Don Bacon (Republican);
▪️Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (Democrat).
The bill is intended to:
▪️prevent the lifting of sanctions on Russian oil;
▪️bar the U.S. Treasury from spending funds on purchases of Russian oil;
▪️ensure the transfer of critical intelligence to Ukraine and require the U.S. administration to notify Congress 24 hours in advance in the event of a suspension.

Now let’s watch whether they push this bill through the House via a discharge petition, as Fitzpatrick promised.
Because if they do, it will be the first demonstration of Congress resisting Trump’s policy.

The House introduced a bipartisan bill on Russian oil and intelligence for Ukraine.
