Ukraine struck Belgorod, killing one person. More than 500 drones attacked Russian regions overnight


Ukrainian drones attacked Belgorod, killing one person, Governor Alexander Shuvayev said.


Another 14 people were injured, eight of whom are in hospital.


According to Shuvayev, the attack damaged 30 apartment buildings, as well as four private homes, three administrative buildings, eight commercial facilities, and three social facilities.


Local Telegram channels report that the MegaGrinn shopping and entertainment centre in the central part of the city was hit. The Paris residential complex was also damaged.


Russia’s Defence Ministry said that air defence forces destroyed 532 Ukrainian drones over 22 Russian regions and Crimea during the night.
