A security guard at one of the businesses in Yelets was killed after a Ukrainian Armed Forces attack

This was reported by Lipetsk Region Governor Igor Artamonov. He gave no further details, and it has not been reported where exactly the attack struck.

Earlier, Astra and Ukrainian monitoring channels reported that the Energia plant was hit; it produces, among other things, batteries for drones and power cells for air-defense missile systems.

Exilenova claims that the strike was carried out with Storm Shadow cruise missiles; Governor Artamonov had earlier warned of a missile threat in the region.
