The Culture Ministry proposed supporting films in 2027 about “Little Russia,” fighting extremism, and the “successful integration” of veterans of the war against Ukraine into “peaceful life”

A draft order approving priority themes for state financial support for the production of national films in 2027 was published on the regulatory acts draft website.

It includes 13 areas, in particular, “Little Russia as a historical region of Russia” and “the heroism and self-sacrifice of warriors, the role of Cossacks and international battalions during the special military operation.”

Other priority themes include the “successful integration of veterans of the special military operation into peaceful life,” “Russia as a stronghold for peoples and nations fighting for self-determination, the founder of the anti-colonial movement,” and “Russia’s foreign-policy victories.”
