Democrats have demanded that U.S. banks and ports preserve documents related to Trump’s diesel deal with Russia

Axios reports that the Democratic Party is now preparing an investigation into this agreement. If it wins the midterm elections, this will become one of the party’s top priorities.

Letters demanding that documents be preserved were sent to JPMorgan, Bank of America, Citi, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley, as well as the administrations of the ports of Houston, Beaumont, and Corpus Christi in Texas, and the ports of New York and New Jersey.
