Rosnano is seeking to recover nearly 20 billion rubles from Chubais
Bailiffs have opened 14 enforcement proceedings against the former head of Rosnano; property has been seized in three of them, TASS reports.
Nearly 18 billion rubles are being sought as compensation for damage to the corporation, while another 2 billion rubles are enforcement fees.
🔵At least 22 people connected to Rosnano have been charged with embezzling funds during the period when Chubais headed the company. He himself called the cases against former top managers of Rosnano “repressions” and “a mockery of the law,” and also said that the new managers had “turned Rosnano into a raider outfit.”
🔵Anatoly Chubais left Russia in March 2022. Before leaving the country, he wrote Putin a letter in which he criticized the decision to invade Ukraine and called for an immediate end to hostilities.
