Bookstore chain Chitai-Gorod faces a report over participation in an “undesirable” organization

A report has been filed against the Chitai-Gorod bookstore chain over participation in the activities of an “undesirable” organization

The report against one of the chain’s legal entities, Gramota LLC, was submitted to a Yaroslavl court on October 22, Mediazona noticed.

It is unknown which organization the company is alleged to be connected with.

🔵Previously, reports over “LGBT propaganda” were filed against Chitai-Gorod in several Russian regions. They generally resulted in large fines, but in some cases courts declined to consider the materials because of errors by regulatory authorities.
