St. Petersburg has halved the number of places where rallies can be held

Only four of the city’s eight designated “Hyde Parks” for rallies will remain, Bumaga reported.

The Legislative Assembly passed a bill in its third reading that will remove Lenin Square and areas in Nikolai Lvov Square, Pionersky Park and the Ninth of January Garden from the official list.

Only the designated “Hyde Parks” in Udelny, Polyustrovsky, Yuzhno-Primorsky and Yekateringof parks will remain on the list of permitted locations.
