Street musicians in St. Petersburg were arrested and fined for performing a Noize MC song

The press service of the St. Petersburg courts reported the news.

The Primorsky District Court deemed a performance by musicians Innokenty Kustov and Sergei Nikulshin near the Primorsky Baths at 33 Mebelnaya Street a violation of laws on public assemblies, petty hooliganism and “discrediting” the army.

The musicians were sentenced to two days in a detention facility and fined 15,000 rubles.

Police and the court said the young men had obstructed pedestrians. Among other songs, they performed Noize MC’s “Swan Lake Cooperative.” In 2025, the Primorsky Court banned the song throughout Russia.
